One of the reasons why I was always intersted to become an accompanist specialized on art song is that I really love poetry. Adding music to the wonderful words leads to a new and different form of poetry - art song.
My biggest aim and emphasis is to evolve and advance the passion for the music within the singers and pianists I am collaborate with. In order to catch and incorporate the spirit of the words and music of art songs, I think it is important that as musicians we enjoy the songs, but also imagine them in the context of the lives and situations of the poet and the composers, and consider the times at which they were created.
Body mapping the awareness that every part of the body is contributing to the enitre performance quality. I believe in the holistic view, that the piano is to be played with the entire body. While intensively studying pieces for hours and days is a necessity to reach a high level of quality, it is important to be aware of the interplay of the body, the mind and the piano.
